# Third-party notices

The original tiler/wrapper code is provided under the accompanying MIT licence.
The compiled browser distribution includes laz-perf code and Emscripten-generated
runtime support. Their accompanying notices are included in `web/dist/`.

## laz-perf 3.4.0

The repository-level COPYING file is the Apache License 2.0. Some source files
also carry BSD-style notices (for example cpp/lazperf/lazperf.cpp). These upstream
notices are not replaced by this project's MIT licence.

The build copies the lazperf source directory with its file-level notices, its
COPYING file, and any root-level NOTICE/LICENSE files into
`web/dist/lazperf-source-notices/`. Keep these notices with redistributed builds.

## Emscripten

Generated JavaScript, runtime support and compiled standard-library components
remain subject to their upstream licences. Review the Emscripten distribution's
licence notices when packaging a binary distribution. The build retains the
Emscripten licence in `web/dist/emscripten-notices/` alongside the compiled runtime.

## Test-only tools

laspy, lazrs and NumPy are used only to generate independent LAZ fixtures and
verify exported LAS files. They are not imported by the browser application.
Their licences remain with those dependencies.
